After its national launch on July 08, 2021 in Yaoundé, the Producers’ Desk is to be implemented in the eight regions know as cocoa and coffee production basins. From September 09 to 24, 2021 the Minister of Agriculture and rural development will face farmers in 08 localities : Bafoussam, Bankim, Abong-Mbang, Ebolowa, Mbangassina, Douala, Buea and Melong. Here is the programme:
West, Adamaoua, North-West regions

East, South and Centre regions
September 15, 2021 : Abong-Mbang
September 16, 2021 : Ebolowa
September 17, 2021 : Mbangassina
Littoral and South-West regions
September 23, 2021 : Buea

According to Samuel Donatien NENGUE, the Administrator of CCODEF, “the Producers’ Desk is an experimental mechanism whose cocoa and coffee sub-sectors constitute the test sample because of their attractiveness ». It could therefore « extend to all the agricultural sectors of Cameroon and thus give substance to the second generation agriculture called with all his wishes by the President of the Republic, at the time of the Ebolowa Agro-pastoral Show. »
